This model has now taken into account not only river flow rate, water temperature, and fish population but also the food that is eaten by the fish (Trout). Whatever the food a trout eats also has an effect upon DO in the system.
The addition of this slider allows one to manipulate the amount of food available. Too much food and the population crashes. Not enough food and the population crashes.
In between the two extremes the population occilates in population depending upon the amount of DO in the system. There is a point within the model where the population is extremely stable (births=deaths) |
