PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS @ the PARK

The following Saturday night speaker series programs are being offered at Guadalupe River State Park & Honey Creek State Natural Area during the months of March, April and May. There is no cost for any of the programs other than the Park entrance fee of $7 per adult (children 12 and under free) unless you are a holder of a Texas State Parks Pass. Honey Creek Hike
9 a.m.

Join a trained interpretive guide for a walk through the beautiful Honey Creek State Natural Area. You’ll learn about the cultural and natural history of the area and enjoy the beauty of Honey Creek during this enjoyable 2-mile walk. Meet at the Rust House. This program is sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River & Honey Creek. A donation of $2 per person or $5 per family is requested.

Prowling For Owls
7:00pm-9:00pm

Join Owl Expert and Master Naturalist Craig Hensley as he discusses the nighttime hunters of Central Texas. After the talk, take a walk with Craig to locate local owls by sight and sound!. This program is sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River/Honey Creek. A suggested donation of $2 per person or $5 per family is welcomed.
