  1. January
    Meeting January 23, 2003
    Saturday Morning Walks
    Memo of Agreement with the park was accepted
    JW Piper, Ernie Lee, and Lisa Cavern were elected as board members.
    Lisa Cavern was elected as Secretary to fill Penny Solis’s position
    Moved our account to Broadway Bank.
    Approved $6500.00 construction of a new entrance gate.
    Kiosk from Rust House was moved to Day Use Area by bathroom.
    Provided $50.00 for Park Host Appreciation luncheon
    Chairmen are appointed Holly-walks, Ernie-Evening Programs, Lisa-Publicity, Events-Tom, and Maintenance-Bill.

  2. February
    Interpretive Training February 22, 2003.
    30 people were trained for walks
    Saturday Morning Walks
    VolksWalk Feb. 15 and 16.
    A $25.00 monthly allowance will be provided for park meetings that have special guests.

  3. March
    Meeting March 20, 2003

    Saturday Evening Amphitheater Presentations
    Special Hikes for Spring Break Week were provided.
    $300.00 was approved for lights at the amphitheater.
    Movement of money box to tables.
    3rd grade education for 819 students and a total of 1108 individuals.

    There will be a late spring addition of the Newsletter before the May 10 th event.
    Trail maintenance work.
    Kiosks are in place.
    Brainstorming for Interpretive Master Plan.
